HISTONE

About Us:

The Histone Source at Colorado State University primarily produces recombinant histones expressed and produced in E.coli. Our histone collection includes individual histone (canonical, variant, and mutant) and histone octamer/tetramer/dimers from human, Xenopus laevis, yeast, mouse, and Drosophila melanogaster.

We also offer other reagents in chromatin research including the Widom 601 positioning DNA fragment, histone chaperones (Nap1, Vps75, etc.), endogenous yeast complexes (yeast Polymerase II complex, yeast RSC, yeast ISW2, etc.), and lastly, custom proteins (previous made to order examples include MeCP2, CREB, GCN5, TEV protease, Sumo protease, topoisomerase, glucokinase, SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid, etc.).
